Our Outplacement Consultants

HtR’s Outplacement Consultants have all worked in Recruitment Roles as Human Resources Managers, In-House Recruiters or Search Consultants, and made the transition into Outplacement. We utilise individuals with a predominantly Recruitment background as a good Recruitment Consultant will have helped hundreds of people into new jobs over their careers, they know what both Human Resources Departments and Recruiting Managers are looking for in a CV, at interview, and in an Assessment Centre. Their background makes then idea Outplacement Consultants.  

Upon assignment, HtR will identify from our team of Outplacement Consultants a dedicated Consultant to work with an individual or group of individuals. By dedicating one Outplacement Consultant, a rapport can build up, a fuller understanding of the individuals requirements established, and better and quicker results achieved.

However we fully appreciate that at times some very specific needs occur which is why we have access to qualified Occupational Psychologists who can provide quite specific and precise support depending upon individuals requirements. This includes Psychometric Personality and Skill Profiling, right up to Professional Counseling.

One such area where we will bring in this extra support is in regards to ‘Personality Profiling’. Included within some of our Outplacement Support packages is the option for the Outplacement Candidate to undertake a Psychometric ‘Personality Profile’. The trauma and stress of being made redundant can often come through within such profiles, thus by knowing what one may show - an individual can be better prepared.

Our Outplacement Consultants are based across the UK: Marian and her team or Outplacement Consultants covering Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh and Highlands); Roger and his team of Outplacement Consultants London and the South Coast; Andrew and his Outplacement Consultants the Midlands, North East and North West; David covering Bristol and the South West and Wales. Other Outplacement Consultants covering East Anglia and non listed areas - a truely National Service, which enables us to provide a fast and effective Outplacement Service.

Outplacement support sessions will usually be delivered in a Regus Business Centre close to the individuals own home. Alternatively where appropriate we can work within a clients workplace.
